About The Nutrition Studio

The Nutrition Studio was founded by Sara Turner in February 2010. Sara is a Nutritional Therapist with a Distinction Diploma of Nutritional Therapy from Premier Training International, and is a registered member with the British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT). She is also a Personal Trainer; holds a 2:1 degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences, a Diploma in Personal Training, and is registered at Level 3 with the Register of Exercise Professionals. She regularly supplements her knowledge by attending professional development seminars, lectures and workshops. As a member of BANT and REPS she is bound by their strict code of ethics and practice meaning she must ensure she attains the highest standards of knowledge, integrity, competence and professional practice in order to protect her client’s interests.

Sara has always had a passion for health and fitness, beginning her career in the industry over 10 years ago. A personal interest led her to develop her knowledge to the highest standard and she feels very fortunate to be able to work alongside clients enthusing, motivating and educating them in two such significant and influential areas - optimum nutrition and personal fitness.

Sara’s approach is enthusiastic, supportive, motivating, realistic and empathetic.

Sara loves good food and believes healthy food should never be boring. Instead of nutrition being a rigidly tight, frankly dull, discipline with masses of restriction, she believes it should be about great food, well cooked, and thoroughly enjoyed.

A nutrition consultation with Sara will help address the underlying causes of your health problems, rather than simply treating the symptoms. You can expect an improved health outcome, whether it is more energy, improved digestion, or a more desirable weight. By working with you acknowledging your individual needs and goals, she will give you the knowledge and confidence to use food and supplements to improve your health. Sara’s nutrition programmes are designed to be as practical as possible and she will take into account your individual needs and lifestyle challenges, such as working long hours, being away from home or juggling family commitments. This makes the changes more realistic and achievable.

The real work happens outside The Nutrition Studio, where you are in complete control. Sara will be at your side, however, and on hand to answer questions, offer support and motivation, and listen to your feedback; offering you guidance through the process.
